Hello,
I have still problems in getting messages in log files.
I checked chkconfig --list syslog
and gotsyslog 0:off1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
I tried syslog -m 0 -d
But I did not succeed in submiting syslog with the -d parameter

It is located on: /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/s30syslog
