some work on this part needs to be done. Otherwise than stableness, GNOME is great... It's very customizable, very convenient, and works great with the system. Sound module not found

he sound module by itself, and installing it, doesnt help. i'm pretty much stumped. oh, and there IS a sound.o, soundcore.o, etc. in the /lib/modules/2.0.36/misc has anyone had this problem before? what should I do to fix it? TIA. -- Oren Sarig [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Telnet to my machine
