some work on this part
needs to be done. Otherwise than stableness, GNOME is great... It's very
customizable, very convenient, and works great with the system. I guess
the thing they need to work on most is the file manager, which still has
bugs and I find it hard to say it's very stable.

Just wondering... will dell create their own distribution, or will they
use an already existing one, and if so - which one? Have they said
anything about that?

I've already done the sndconfig thing... Like I've said, I already had
sound working in linux, it just stopped. And I don't want to use the
RedHat kernel since it is faulty, and doesnt include support for all the
devices I need.

How do I enable telnetting to my machine?
If I try to telnet localhost or telnet to my ip, it sais "connection
refused". It's probably some simple step I don't know how to do :)
Sorry for the newbie question.

Thanks for the quick reply, but that faq is totally outdated... it sais
it was last updated on 5/1998, though it still contains things "valid
through 1996". ???. Is there a faq more recent which also covers more
topics?
Thanks again.

e is a faq I don't know about, would someone point me there
please?
If there isn't one, I think one of the list `gurus' should create one.
If there isn't one, would one of you kindly repeat shortly how to get
hebrew and TT fonts working on linux?
TIA
