ADSL Help

Hellow Everyone, Help ? I acted like the ADSL-HOWTO (posted here a couple of weeks ago) said. I can ping to the ADSL Modem (ping 10.0.0.138 yields good retults), and even pptp reports "connection established" or so, but it doesn't work: ping or telnet to any host says unknown host. Envinroment

EconoFast on hp600 (was : debian packages in RH 5.2)

d it nicely in rpm format. also see the REAME file (it's a link from that page). there's a simple copy & paste you have to do to get the RH printtool to recognize this driver. it works, although this README file is not so clear. anyway, thanks everybody

install a newer version of gcc. I am currently using ver 2.8.1 which works find. I vaguely recall having some problems with the gcc supplied with Rh 5.2, so I installed a newer version. look for the newer version in www.rpmfind.org of www.filewatcher.org or many other places. maybe this is easier tha
