Install DBI frpm Cpan
use it like any other module i.e. use DBI;
DBI doesnt do much by itself, you need to specify a db driver, the database
driver for Oracle is called DBD::Oracle
For example to do a SELECT (i'm assuming you know SQL if not - there are a

Not to continue the AMD vs Intel flame wars
but:
Here's an interesting hardware security vulnerability. Turns out that
it's possible to update the AMD K8 processor (Athlon64 or Opteron)
microcode. And, get this, there's no authentication check. So

the answer was embarassingly simple
1. make sure you're using the latest version 1.3.1
- you need the rdp5 support
2. you want your XF86Config file to
specify:

Option XkbLayout "he"
Option XkbVariant "nodeadkeys"
3. Make sure that hebrew input methods and O
The newer Athlons have the same feature as P4 - they shutdown. This is a
feature of the processor
integrated with the mbd - when temp goes over the top it shuts down the

put it in backwards by mistake and nuke the processor

I totally agree about qmail for all. I'm a bit familiar with open exchange

However - if you need hebrew support then you'll need to wait. they have
some fundamental limitations
in internal encoding - altho' they are aware and planning to migrate the
system to unicode.

RH ES 3 is fine - BUT I dont recommend AMD for any serious server
applications. We just had a very negative
experience with RH ES and Fedora with AMD and we went back to pure Intel and
its been a pleasure. FYI -
AMD have big time issues with mbd compatibilities and it just isnt worth the
