I have 2 linux boxes in my house, both with RH6.0 and a working network
between them. One of the computers also has the capability to connect to
ppp. If I connect without disabling my ethernet adaptor, I get no rowting
anywhere, but if I disable the LAN, i do get routing to the outside world.
Any
I've finally configured a ppp conection for my box, and tried it. Doing
"telnet t2.technion.ac.il" works, but if I run netscape and try to get a
webpage, it doesn't reach it... do I have to configure a dns outside from
resolve.conf? if yes, where?
thanks,
Arieh
I have linux RedHat 6.0 and I want to try to upgrade it myself. I have in my
hands 5 kernel patches (2.2.9 to 2.2.13)... I've tried reading any FAQ and
HOWTO on this topic, bun on none of them it says anything about a patch...
does anyone know what I have to do?
Thanks,
Arieh
