You described 2 symptoms: - block pages saying the target page was unsafe = This can of course be just squid or some other proxy with blocklists, but it's much more likely to be an AV gateway - Downloads that claim to complete but really don't = AV gateways when configured right/wrong play around

I ended up just calling them. At first they didn't believe me but after I insisted that this was the behavior I was getting the support person did something she called "לרענן את היוזר".  I have know idea what that means but the problem seems to have gone away for now

I know for a fact that NV use fortigate (at least last I noticed it about a month ago) and you can request it to be disabled/disabled selectively for services. On the errorpages depending on how much effort they stuck in them you may be able to determine the vendor by looking at the source. Regar

I had the same problem on Netvision a couple of months ago - files seemed to miss a few kB after what appeared to be a successful download according to firefox. Didn't encountered any error pages though. This happened a lot with Eclipse tar.gz from different mirrors and some other smaller archives.
