Hi all!
This is a last-days reminder that we will have Gabor's talk about Perl 6 next
Sunday on 22-March-2009. More information can be found in the quoted message

Gabor is going to give the second part of this presentation two

How have you upgraded exactly? What distribution? From what packages?

I decided that as a temporary measure, I'll disable FLASH to see if this
solves the problem. If not, I'll start playing around with extensions. I'll
let you know if I find out anything.

Sorry for being a bit delayed. I hope my message will clarify few things.
about:crashes would aggregate your crash information as soon as you report
them to Mozilla. Some Linux distributions are compiling Firefox without the
crash reporter, in order to make the software more similar to their other
I almost forgot. There is an addon that detects problem in other
extensions, it is meant for developers. You would install that
extension and a suspect extension in a new profile, browse for a bit,
then check for errors. I don't have details at the moment (I'm no on
my home system) but if you canno

That's why I want to know which extensions you use. I have also had
some crashes
Thanks to Moshe and Dotan for their replies. Let me clarify a couple of
things.
1 - I do know about safe-mode and yes, Moshe, it does work in Linux, but that
doesn't help discover what was causing the crash.
2 - Like both of you, I also suspect an add-on, but I have a large number of

Now I see what this does: it changes Hebrew characters to English when
typing in the address bar. You might want to vote for this bug, or at

Ctrl-Shift-X will do that in all Mozilla applications, not addon necessary.

I would check to see what Add ons you have installed. I suspect that you have
an Add On or Plugin that is not compatible.
I have these and they are OK:
Tic Tac (This lets you type right to left in GMail and others)

Session Manager (remembe
Ever since upgraging from Firefox 2.* to 3.0.7, the browser randomly but
FREQUENTLY closes for no **apparent** reason. Unfortunatly, about:crashes
doesn't seem to work on Linux, so I have no idea where to look for the
reason. I've looked at all the usual logs and ~/.mozilla/* and found nothing.
