I think the extra money is worth it, you the domain is registered on your
name, and the registerring comapny doesn't do all kinds of locking like
the one described bellow.

Use register.com .
I live in the U.S, and purchased a lot of domains (probably 15 so far)
using them.
They have a pretty reliable service to.

i'll describe qemu by saying its a free vmware. (althoght there are
differnces)
here is how i installed win98 on qemu:
i created an image with qemu-img
then booted with:
qemu -cdrom win98se.iso -boot d win98.img
i tried first a normal install, but windows askd me to inseret the win98
