Hi.
I just upgraded to FC3, and tried to compose an email message using kontact.
Everything seems to work fine, except that the letter "Tet" comes out as a
blank. I just realized that it seems to happen only when I use the Nachlieli
font. Could it be that that font got screwed up under FC3 ?

The political and electoral systems of Israel and the US are
undoubtedly very interesting topics. However, Linux-IL is hardly an
appropriate place to discuss them at length. With all due respect to
those interested in continuing the discussion, can it be moved to a

Just the part that is needed. Specifically,
Quite a bit earlier in the day (at least, in the U.S. EST;
probably yesterday for those of you in Israel), the following
text was sent, and I want to clarify what really happens in
American elections:

Hi everybody,
My turn to ask a question. I (and a few of my colleagues) am
interested in profiling the memory usage of a non-trivial application.
By "non-trivial application" I mean the following:
* The app forks a number of new processes, possibly a few generations
of processes (i.e. childre
Second that but with reservation.

For a vote, dude?!
You'll have to do mass killing for mass vote forging. I don't see any logic in that. :P

Title: RE: Electronic elections
How can you say that the word mass is not part of the elections.
The winner of the elections is determined by mass.
Regarding body damage, agreed.
Regarding government conspiracies, that can be applied to any kind of identification.

Indeed, there's the matter of revocation: If someone steals my password (or
private key, etc.), I can get a new one, with relatively little hassle.
If someone manages to duplicate my biometric information, I'm in trouble...

Regarding the 'eye' issue, this is still a good pointer.
It is well known that Mr. Brown is not a trusted scientific source.

Electronic elections surely separate the 2 issues: Voting identification &
Voting management. Both issues are heavy and I read that different
implementations do different staff.
You may have elections with 0 identification ( e.g. כוכב נולד ) and sensitive
remote voting with a small number of peo
Please do read, at least "The Da Vinci Code".

The word ‘mass’ is not part of
elections.
Consider the Electorals method in the US. What
if it was a one vote difference. On a tie, the chairmen of Congress becomes the
president as far as I know ( and it actually doesn’t matter for this
debate ). Now consid

No, just take a very good photo of it. There are a lot of biometeric
insecurity systems that can be easily tricked by "second hand" images of
the items that they track.
