one RedHat . Sun people (and not the ones that are market oriented)
emphasize all day long before our
system mangers that Tru64 will be killed as it competes and impedes HP-UX--

Well, thanks for all your replies. I have found out
that my favorite linux distro Debian supports Alpha XL and I am now d/l netinst.
I have also managed to find updated firmware that supposed to resolve some
issues with Linux install.
I will post an update whether I succeed or
not.
