i installed kde from cvs to /opt/kdecvs, added it to /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession and
added the new session in Kcontrol --> system > login manager --->
sessions .
i don't get the new entry in the login manager. how can i start the new kde ?
to i need to change the KDEDIR variable ? i
RH7.3 - kde2-compat package has an errr in the configuration. must execute
chmod -R o+X /usr/lib/kde2-compat for it to work for non root users.
Tried to post on RH's support site, but site is down.
