EOF signal by ctrl-z or ctrl-d for c++ program?

Hi, My problem is ctrl-d or ctrl-z das not send the EOF(end of file signal) to the program running (I get ^z or ^d on the screen). The sys. is slackware8.0 KDE emacs g++. As I'm desperate ;>) On a win2000 with MS. visual 6.0 & dev-c++ not working too. Any help is appreciated. Thank, Jeff #inclu

kmail2 is stable, it does not crash, if this is what you mean. kamil3 was stable at beta2, which I used for a month or two. I am now using kmail2, waiting for kde3 final, which supports hebrew perfectly. I used to swap mails with ms-only duds, which did not see any problem. I am just waiting for

hey i encounter a problem of writing hebrew on netscape 4.7   when i switch to hebrew it wont write a thing.   on my mozilla it works fine.   I'm usinf Xfree86 4.1 (i think) and xkb to switch to hebrew   anyone knows ??   thanx Eli Segal
