My personal opinion is that it's redundant and uneeded. The same goes
for other website mirrors, such as Samba. One can go to the official
site, it's not slow by any measure, and
you don't need to download and compile you need to check if the thingy is

Mike, the SuSE 7.1 have 3 versions:
1. Commercial - thats the 3GB one - which is not intended to download and
install (unless you got lots of time and lots of bandwidth) - it's the mirror.
2. Live version - this version is non installable SuSE - which means - you

Maxim,
I think that the problem comes from Hardware conflicts, I suggest looking
on the /proc files to see about any conflicts. /proc files can give lots on
information at thiss problems.

Hey everyone,
I kindof had a no-go with trying to compile mozilla with the bidi
support. I'm running Slackware 7.0 on an AMDK6-2 400, and here's the last
few lines from the compilation:
nsPresContext.cpp:1414: invalid use of undefined type `class nsBidiPresUtils'

Hi list !
The darnest thing - I'm trying to set up a simple VPN using pppd over ssh,
but when I try to run pppd on my system, it reports that the kernel is
lacking ppp support, and suggest that I modprobe ppp or something.
The system is a vanilla Mandrake 7.2, and I'm sure I have ppp support,

Hey Tzafrir,
You are correct, the creation of such a package only involves the placement
of the CVS code instead of the stable code and adding the --bidi-enabled flag
to debian/rules.
Can you please not CC me when such a thing is not required? We all read the
list and there's no need to generate

In the ext2fs filesystem, the limit is 2GB. So if you need to manipulate
