Hi,
I also tried once to upgrade my glibc. In the end I succeeded in compiling
first 2.1.3 and then 2.2.2 on top of it. I used the gcc 2.95 though.
I also never managed to compile and install the libstc++

Hi All,
Now, that I have some free time, I decided to learn a bit more, so I'm asking
you for recommending books for:
1. Perl
2. Apache
My knowledge about both of those issues can be summerized as "sucks", and I
don't think that by learning code from other people's projects can be the

Hi,
That error means that Linux can determine your NIC drivers.
Did you compile a new kernel? Did you read the readme file in the RTL8139
installation disk(there is an howto in the linux\ directory)? Did you added
the line to the conf.modules file that will determine the rtl8139 driver?

I finally got the Nezeq technician in to to install ADSL, and now I am
running into problems making the connection. I followed the HOWTO and a
connection comes up, but I don't get any further than the two IP's
(internal and external - both 10.15.0.X) assigned to the connection. I

Hello List.
I have an ADSL connection on my linux machine with two NICs (rtl8139), the
