SuSE 6.4 boasts a 2.2.14 kernel source supporting ReiserFS out-of-the-box.
It installs on it too.
And besides, it's the best (and my favourite) linux distro :-)
. And if you wait 2 weeks longer, SuSE 7 will be out.

My PPP connection is working fine. However, when it runs, it executes ip-up
script twice. I am not able to figure out why it is running twice. The man pages
for pppd did not help.
Any pointers on how to fix this minor issue appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

In generel, for any project foo, you can try www.foo.org, before asking

will also usually provide results.

I'd like to install Linux in two places with ReiserFS as root. The reason
is that the hard-disk I am going to use is 15 GB, and running ext2.fsck on
it will take 15 minutes or so, which is unacceptable. ReiserFS OTOH has
journalling so it will be better.
Now, I have a RH6.1 CD at home, but I t

I read on this list a long time ago that that Cell-Com had a pager

using standard paging programs and it would send the message for you.
Does anyone know the number and any other details.
TIA,
Geoff.

Is there any way of getting just the kdb package and adding it manually into
