On the other hand, MY 24x toshiba couldn't grab audio in a satisfying speed, couldn't read some of the CD-Rs and broke down 3 times within the warrany period. I have a second drive (which is a 12x CyberDrive) which still works to this very day. How about that? --

Hi All Lets say I have an ftp user that I don't want to roam al over my directories. With wu-ftpd i can restrict a user to a specific directory but i want more. I want to restrict him to several directories that are not under one directory, I think BeroFTPD can handle such task but im not sure

no, it didn't only make the noise on xmms, it only stopped making the noise on xmms. if i "ls /mnt/cdrom" for example then it does make that noise. i guess it is only some reconfiguration of the buffers in xmms. jets taking off can sound like tractors, i guess ,if their take off lasts longer than
