The basic OS requires a single CD which can be downloaded (see

I'm interesting in comparing FreeBSD's SMP performance to Linux.
Anyone has a FreeBSD 3.3 CD that I can duplicate (or willing to do that

I do not plan to go to the lecture, as it will probably be inaccessible to

Well, I suppose most of you heard about a company CTO being almost
excluded from the real Comdex because he was too young. In the end they
made an exception for him ;

Worked fine on the machines I've used it on, noticably slower than
a "native" X server, but quite useable (slowest machine I used it on
was a PII 350).

Hi,
You'll need a new X server for Rage 128 based cards (and no, ATI 3D Rage
is NOT based on Rage 128 - go ahead and pop out your card and see for
yourself). Rage 128 cards CANNOT (and I tested that) be running with the
XF86_Mach64 X server.
So you'll need to download a new X server from ... SuS

ok, I see noone is really interested in important guest lecturers and
all, I was going to try and reach Jon Hall today and ask him to
come, but...
I'm a bit depressed about the lack of enthusiasm this LUG is showing
but, TOUGH, it's my problem alone I suppose.
