You *should* put it in rc.d/init.d since it is a service activation. Your
script can run ipchains with rules to put up the firewall on the start
script, and rules to take down the firewall on the shutdown script. Of

I think there is supposed to be a big-disk HOWTO (for some reson I don't
currently have it).
but you can make a small partion with only the kernel and related files,
and after start-up mount the rest of the file-system. that will solve your
problem.

You can use HTTP_REFERER header. To make it work, you could use
mod_rewrite (this would be the best, I think). Your case is described in

Try to look in to the refer header, most browsers sensd them. But as far
as I know there is no way to write acl based on it in apache.
