hi. I am using redhat 6.0 (upgraded from red hat 5.2) I am able to use the mouse under X and i used to be able to use the mouse on terminal aplication (on the one of the terminals) back when RH 5.2 was installed however i am unable to use the mouse now (on rhide,mc and other console aplication)

Amit, I assume your real problem is the Creative 56K winmodem. Winmodems aren't supported under linux (but watch this space...). If you are running a dual system (i.e. you can boot-up either linux or windoze, again and again and again...) you probably won't want to replace your 56k modem with
