thanks!

btw: if you have xwit installed, try this:
circle.c :
---
#include
#define PI 3.1415926
void main()
{
int i,x,y;
char s[100];
for (i=0;i<360;i++)
{
x=5*sin(i*PI/180);
y=5*cos(i*PI/180);
sprintf(s,"xwit -rmove %d %d",x,y);
system(s);
usle
then it is about 200-300 SKL more per month.
for small bussnises and home users it is fine but if u need to use MRTG and
SNMP programs then the router does not support it (i think, altho in their web
site fastcomm say it is.)

We have a 64k/cir0 FR line to internet zahav.
we pay 250$+vat to IZ and 400 shekels to Bezeq per month.
we use a snagoma s508 FR isa card, which is
very good, but support for it sucks.
(I'm trying for a month now to make it work
on linux-2.2.x, and sangoma gives very little support,
if any.)

Hi,
please continue this interesting discussions on all
computer/internet/linux related topics on this list. I think that this
list represents it's participants and if we want to talk about toaster,
why not. Don't be too afraid about "off-topic". it is much more
interesting to read about experien

Well, you can just try and see what's happening. Or you can get the
utility that allows users to execute processes with super-user uid.

Before everything else, let me ask you NOT TO PAY TOO MUCH!
The reason that frame-relay costs are hundreds percents, and
sometimes even 1000% more than their real costs, is that there are
frayers who are willing to pay these crazy prices.
Now for the prices: Frame-relay costs are much lower than
Hiya.
http://www.lokigames.com/order.html lists the price as 49.95 for
the game and 15$ for S&H.
LinuxCentral sell it for 47.95 + 15.65$ for S&H (normal airmail).
EggHead.com might ship for less, but I'm not sure about that.

I've tried to order Civ:CTP for Linux at Macmillan, and they seem to have
intnl. order delivery cost about $40. I can buy $50 for a game, but I
can't pay this delivery - it's too much. So, the question - if anyone
knows the place that the game can be bought without paying twice the
price?

Hi
I use samba from the samba-2.0.3-0 rpm. When I try to mount as a user
I get the message that I need root permissions for that.
The reason is ofcourse that none of smbmount, smbumount and smbmnt is
suid-ed.
from different paragraphs on theSamba documentation I gather that
smbmout should be set

What you describe here is a nightmare. My frame relay installation took
exactly 3 days.
1st day, the Bezeq technician came here with the 2603 unit, connected
the pair from the Bezeq switchboard, connected the 2603 to it, it synced,
run kvt or konsole, and select whichever fonts size you want (small, huge etc).
Regarding the size - just maximize the window :)

Hi,
For sometime now I have this weird problem with Netscape.
I'm using KDE 1.1.1, Redhat 5.2 and kernel 2.2.10.
When I run netscape, it runs fine, but as soon as I click on another window, or
a window comes above netscape - it totally crashes netscape..
I tried to replace versions of netscap
Yaron,
Bezeq prices are much higher, than the prices you mention. They might have
reduced their installation prices (which are insignificant in the long
term), but the monthly fee has risen by 40%-50% !
The minimum price for frame relay (64KBPS with CIR=0) is NIS 1570 per two
months.
Bezeq's hi
