2.2.x kernels compile fine with egcs.

My guess you forgot/misspecified protocol, and the ISDN card type - check
you dmesg or /var/log/messages. Make sure you compiled hisax with your
cart support and with EUROISDN wich is protocol 12. You can also check
your isapnp config if you use ISA ISDN card. Look in

If you have tried to build a 2.0.xx kernel for Intel machines with
EGCS, then you are on your own. The 2.0.xx kernels are to be bui

Hi
I'm setting up an isdn ppp conection and I have a problem with my modprobe
command. I set the isdn support and the hisax support in the kernel config
menu as modules. When I want to make "modprobe hisax" (with or without the
io,irq,pro,type etc.) i get:
/lib/modules/2.2.5/misc/hisax.o: init_m
BLACK LIST ?!!!
oh come on,
True, Philips didn't issue "CustoMax" for a UNIX plattform but that
doesn't mean that the "Brilliance 105" is not configureable under
Linux.
I have it myself and i had very little problem setting it up.

Wrong translation. "BASIC" is an acronym, though I don't
remember what it stands for.

Check the Vide4Linux website:

Probably ask Alan Cox directly (if RTFM doesn't help)
