mkinitrd cannot find the drivers which
must be included into the initrd. I'm not sure if SLC6 is already
using dracut. If so, you may want to change the script 30-mkinitrd so
it uses the dracut part instead of the mkinitrd code. Or try to add
kudzu to your package list.

the same error message, you have to debug the initrd (use lsinitrd to
see which drivers are included in you initrd) or the boot process of

hernet packets. Pinging worked very well, but when the
machine started using NFS and NIS, the whole networked stalled because
of the larger packets. IMO only the packages size should influence if
the network is working or not. I'm not aware of any reason that
software or a different driver could "fix" a defective cable.

st did a test with FAI 5.0.3 and I set this variable in
/srv/fai/config/class/myclient.var
FAI_DEBMIRROR=myinstallserver:/files/scratch/debmirror
When booting the client, this directory was mounted on
/target/media/mirror wothout any problems.
Please set FAI_DEBMIRROR in your config space.

This should work. I do not have any problems with virtio and dracut.
I'm using the fai-kvm command to start my virtual machines. This works

I seems that the whole CentOS 7 installation is not working atm.
Even if you do not use LVM, the machine does not manage reboot
successfully. Booting the rescue kernel helps only a little bit.
