I'm running 3.4.8 on a Squeeze machine and thinking about upgrading to 4.0. Are
there any special steps needed to take after installing 4.0, or something else

I think the patch posted in this bug report will fix the problem with lvm,
haven't tested it yet. Notice there are two bugs in that report but the one you
want is the one posted on github.

We're also using lvm preserve here at work and I can't go up to 4.0 until that
works. I spent some time trying to get it to work but my perl skills aren't
that good and the confusion was high when going through the setup-storage code.
I'm willing to help out anyway I can.

inside the script and also copy the rsync pw file to somewhere inside /target.
Or handle everthing without the chroot.
