Otherwise, the key is left in a temporary file during
installation, using crypttab and stuff; I am not that well aware
of the details for this part unfortunately.

As far as I know FAI in Debian 11 is still affected, so you may
want to upgrade to a newer version or patch your install,
depending on what options are feasible for you.
