hi!
i tried to put the packports key into package_config, like it is
documented here:
http://www.informatik.uni-koeln.de/fai/fai-guide/#_anchor_id_packageconfig_xreflabel_packageconfig_software_package_configuration
but i still get a big fat warning about the missing key. is this

softupdate runs (from cron) in order to deploy common changes
to all our hosts
like
- the odd new munin server ip
- some syslog server infrastructure changes
- new name servers (resolve.conf)
etc

file or so into a directory/class structure as there are in files/ in
the fai config space?

hi!

hi!
the client's interface that is used for dhcp etc during the fai
installation is set up nicely during the installation.
but how to configure other interfaces the machine might have?
in my case, not all machines do have additional interfaces, only
a few. and they might even have multiple IP ad
hi!
i am using setup_harddisks as described here:
http://faiwiki.informatik.uni-koeln.de/index.php/Setup_harddisks_2
i noticed several issues when i try to run a test install, in
order of importance (ascending):
