OK, Dear
you have to add os-prober under package_config directory, and
your problem is how to choose the suitable packages during installation
so could you check and study more the directory /srv/fai/config.

I am trying to install Ubuntu 10.10 from Debian squeeze based FAI server,
and this is my /etc/apt/sources.list at install client

OK I will describe what I have done,
1- I create the directory basefiles under /srv/fai/config.
2- I run debootstrap to create base files and copressed as UBUNTU1010.tgz.
3- I modified 50-host-classes to use UBUNTU1010 within FAIBASE, XORG and GNOME.
4- I create prepareapt.UBUNTU1010.

and go to that directory cd /srv/fai/config/basefiles
2- Debootstrap
--arch i386
--exclude=info maverick
/srv/fai/config/basefiles/
