i have some problem again,
I tring to extract debian initrd image ,I create a folder in root dir
say temp and then run command:
#gunzip

Try again with add in -v, it;s ok to only run

Seems, that you are using an old kernel version.
Which FAI version do you use?

Nowadays, FAI is using aufs instead of unionfs.
