Look at it this way:
A satellite costs around 50 mil bucks, last for 6 years and is carrying say
40 transponders with 40 MBps bandwith (at most).
Works out a transponder rent to 150.000 USD a month. At 20 USD monthly
subscription it should serve at least 7000 customers to show a profit ( or
30.00
