Attached is the patch I use, against Manus latest multiproto tree.
Should apply with some offset to the official tree, too.
Sorry for the delay, hadn't had much time last weeks.

If I disable nobusyloop the errors are gone. I will check if the CI-module
keeps working properly.

ymore with this patch, but if no CI-interface is
connected this patch floads the syslog with weird error-messages of which I
have no idea why they are shown.
Maybe one of you has an idea what's the problem to make the problem ready for

Attached is a patch with adds full support for suspend/resume in budget-av.
Actually only the CI interface needs to be reinitialised as all the tuner
stuff gets reinitialised at the next tuning-process anyway.
So this patch should be ready to go pretty straightforward into head.

I'm going to put in my 2 cents.
If you actually read his posts - Like alot of end users are. Its the flames
and personal attacks that are coming from the group mentality here (im sure
theres a wiki that can explain that too)
So if we are talking about changes

the equivalent of DMX_OUT_TAP which we can then read, perhaps from a
ringbuffer per feed, and inject into the software decoder (via the same
route that PES input would come from an application such as VDR)
However, we cannot see any obvious way of doing this.

allow this kind of access. The reason for this is it seems pointless to
demux data that has already been filtered by the dvb-core functions.

Well done roger, nice work. Let us know when you have a patch.
Im interested to see what exactly you did. Is it inappropriate to have the

I dont if this is at all relevent. But you might want to see the difference
between UK and AU by setting countryreg.exe (in the DVICO folder), setting it
to UK and taking a log.
Of course you wont be able to tune under windows.
But something might show up.

Should parse the logs properly now, and non digit bulk packet indexes.
Dont know much perl or if theres a better
regexp solution. But seems to be fairly solid with what comes out of
usbsnoop.log

Not getting any luck with usbreplay i get so far then come across a WRITE

pretty much renders the device useless requiring a powerdown.
Any ideas on this?

hi,
I have this running on windows and noticed a few things.
its buggy as hell software but theres an interesting app called countryreg.exe
you'll find it with the dvico software. Ive suspected theres some kind of
region setting going on here, on installation theres a dialog that comes up
asking
people in .au who have this device please post to this thread to
keep updated on any progress.

Ok we know it has nothing to so with being a melburnian.
i installed kaffeine - its able to do auto scan (and claims the card supports
it) so i set it at auto and at 0, +167 and -167 offsets. It displays a signal
strength whether that means anything I dont know because it cant tune to
begin with
what app are you using to test signal strength?
thanks

AFAIK Theres alot of people with working dvico cards (zl10353) in .au
Chris Pascoe has been working on this chip aswell i wonder what his progress
is? Should i try out his test tree?
Maybe dvico can help out with this too.

ut is, that the problem was introduced by the "refractored tuner code"(changeset id: 0e988fec6587 @ hg/v4l-dvb @
