Hi all,
the subject says it all. I just want to know as I get a stream when the

Hello
I recently bought a Pinnacle Dual DVB-T diversity USB stick (ref: 2000e)
After having compiled and installed v4l-dvb and dvb-usb-dib0700-1.10.fw,
everything worked well with VLC and Kaffeine
But, I had no such luck with Mplayer and Xine.
I copied the channels.conf in .xine and .mplayer.

Hi,
searching in the internet I found that the USB stick is (maybe)
experimentally supported by the tm6000 driver. The wiki page
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Xceive_XC3028/XC2028 gives an
advice how to extract the firmware out of the driver; however, the

help, but no.

Hello Simeon,
So you're saying that if I want to get my Nova-T stick to work I
should compile 2.6.22.9 instead of 2.6.24.2?
I, too, have a Nova-T stick. I'm using the default Ubuntu kernel, and
git linux-dvb tree. However, it doesn't currently work.

Hello,
I scanned using 7205 changeset. With verbose=5, I get 1801 services.
With verbose=2 I get 1725 services.
Using the 7201 changeset with verbose=5 I get 2082 services. I can check
for verbose=2 and changeset 7201 if you think it is useful.
I have the "feeling" that 7201 behaves better. It

Hi,
No, this isn't a question, for me I have the answer, and it is
2.6.22.18, the kernel drivers and the latest firmware.
I am using Ubuntu Gutsy and started with their included 2.6.22 kernel.
When I got the Nova-T stick (now two) I tried the stock Ubuntu kernel
with no luck. I then tried the lin

Manu,
The Diseqc switch has been removed and now all polarities tune, and
DVB-S2 works as well.

Hello,
I tried scanning with the 7201 changeset and I believe the results are
better than the 7205 changeset. In the former case I get 2082 services

I'll shortly send kernel logs for a failing transponder during scan.

Hello,
I attach the timing logs for changsets 7205 and 7201. The funny thing is
that when I use 7201 it does NOT have the problem with locking when
tuning, as it had before. I tried it 3 times, the third after a full
shutdown of the pc and having removed the power for a couple on minutes.

I've managed to smack down most of the other issues I had. But the last
issue with analog recording remains -- I can get audio but it is way too

I'm using the hvr-1300 hg branch with the PAL-BG audio fix (last patch).
My input is from my cable box into the composite in of the HVR-1300.
