Darron Broad pointed me to the patches available at
http://dev.kewl.org/hauppauge/ (get the sfe version for the 1300). The
patches applied cleanly about the v4l main tree mercurial source.
That fixed the problem. both ir-kbd-i2c and lirc-i2c detect and initialize the

It is AF9015.
Looks like firmware you have tried is bad. Download correct one from here:

Hi,
ok some success.

I changed the idVendor to 13d3 and idProduct to 3213.
Build it and the modprobe says:

Hello, help!
I can "dvbscan" and "tzap", and gets indication of a good signal. BUT,
I cant view the video!

Also "dvbdate" command works (that returns time and date from the air, I
presume). But not a command as "dvbsnoop" (that need

I'm having a problem with out of order packets using MPE on the HVR4000.
The timestamp in the packet headers shows they are received in the right
order, however every now and then they will come off the stack out of
order. Check out the attached packet capture, packet 32 is the first
out of order

Hi Hartmut,
I've applied your patch against latest v4l-dvb tree and the tuning
problems with my Technotrend S-1401 (thread "TT-1401 budget card support
broken since 2.6.24-rc6" on the list) are gone. Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you. This is what I finally did (blacklisting and manually

tip in Gentoo wiki and it's working fine now.

No, I have yet to find any log message that says things aren't OK.
