Hello - I thought I should share the experience of (what seems like) a
bricked Hauppaughe nova-t-usb2 USB DVB-T tuner; it worked up until a few
days ago, then after some rearrangement of cabling, I get this on
whichever of my three machines I plug it into (I have an i386, amd64 and

Hi,
I'm running a pretty standard Fedora 7 box with MythTV. Recently my
remote control, plugged into a SAA7146 era Nova-T, stopped working. I'm
fairly sure this was after a reboot, probably into a new kernel which
had been installed at some previous time (reboots are infrequent).
The kernel is 2.

Hello CityK,
I also had a lot of problems with the Technisat Skystar 1 CI series in the past.
There are different cards out there, ALL named Skystar 1 CI, with
different Firmware contents and can be recognised on the different
colors of the PCB, but all are distributed under the same name. The <

The Skystar 1 CI is actually a VP-1030A clone:

Thank you. I will try if this is also enough to do the switch.

Hi: I'm running MythTV 0.21 under CentOS 5, all updated from ATrpms etc.
The DVB-T card is 'AVerTV DVB-T Super 007', which worked out-of-the-box
