Hallo!
I have a Hama USB DVB-T stick that doesn't ship with a IR-remote control but
it has a IR-reciever build in. (The windows driver reports that and Hama
confirms it) I got an IR-remote control from Hama of the newer device that is
very simillar to mine and ships with an IR-remote con
I noticed a weird problem with last nights Mythbusters episode VDR
recording. The playback suddenly speeded up like fastforward and it is
repeatable. I've seen this once earlier also, but thought that it was caused
by bad reception, but this time the were no visible errors on the recording.

I have been told that there is not much support for DVBS2 on the linux
community yet.
I want to help.
For this, I need to buy a decoder first. Could you help me find one that I
could have more support from 1) the community and 2) from the vendor ?
I am looking for something like this :

Almost impossible !
Does anyone knows where to find a company that ships a DVBS2 decoder to
Brazil ?
Most companies selling it are in Germany, and it seems that most of them
can't ship it outside EU.
Any ideas ?
Thanks, cya, Sam

this change:
http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb?cmd=changeset;node=eff1d62fcbff;style=gitweb
causes a regression where dvb-core will not anymore detect lock losses
unless some external application is running signal strength queries.

Hi Patrick,
the usb disconnects are also reproduceable with the new firmware. I've
attached a kernel log with enabled USB debugging.
Based on that log I would say that the device stops responding or sends
bad data. That are together with timeouts the conditions under which
the kernel issues th
