Hi, I still have problems with the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T-Stick. When
using the stick console is filled with "mt2060 I2C read failed".
I did some tests and noticed that the mt2060_readreg function in
mt2060.c returns -5 each time when the error is printed. Does anybody
has any idea what this mean
I installed a Fedora 6 as test, and that worked after installing xine,
now on my standard ubuntu, I have lots of problems...
I have installed the v4l drivers like it is explained on linuxtv.org
(and rebooted)
As root

Hello list, this is my first post to this list.
I searched the archives and came to the conclusion that Anysee Edition
30 DVB-T USB2 is not yet supported. Does anyone know if it is going to
be supported and if then when?
Anybody?

Hello Mr. Boettcher,
Hello ML,
unfortunatly I didn't get it working - yet :)
But I came a little bit further:
I seems that in linux kernel at drivers/usb/core/message.c in
function usb_bulk_msg() the ep is null:
if (!ep)
return -EINVAL; // <-- -22
The ep is determined by

OK, here's the patch which makes the card work great. Easy, huh? Although, I

In kernel 2.6.14, method input_register_device returns void, whereas in the
latest hg we're expecting int. Also, use of __GFP_DMA32 should be changed to
__GFP_DMA for 2.6.14 and below. From what I understand, use of __GFP_DMA32
isn't necessary anyway. Please see attached patch.

Hi,
With this patch I can't tune any more to transponder 12402 on Astra 19.2
tunning to transponder 11895, 12012, 12640, on Astra 19.2 is OK
If I remove this patch the video quality is poor on 12402( glitch, freeze)
Any idea?

Aha! Another 761 person! I've tried at length to work out how to make
this card work (FC3, FC4, Ubuntu) and not succeeded. I couldn't get it
to detect a tuner.
How did you overcome that problem? Probably it's something simple that
I'm missing, not being a kernel/hardware person really. Or perhaps
I have a custom kernel without V4L enabled, and I compiled the latest HG
sources for v4l-dvb-kernel.
Now I can't compile gpscav1 webcam driver:

gspcav1-20070110/decoder/gspcadecoder.c:2217: error: 'VIDEO_PALETTE_RGB565'

Hello to all,
I have just bought an Intuix S825 hybrid DVB-T and analog TV tuner. It's
an USB device with ID 04ca:f004, which led me to believe that it is the
same as the Intuix S820 which was discussed previously on the list:
