Hi Soyeb,
I *believe* the KWorld card uses the same Samsung and MT352 front end
as used on the new Avermedia A771 DVB-T PCI card.
There is another gentleman on here (Locke) who is attempting to get
the MT352 front end working under Linux.
Cheers,
Craig

You need dvbnet from dvb-apps package.
Use it to bring up the network interface.

Hi. I have two DVB cards which behave a bit differently when they lose
lock. One will regain lock automatically (eg if you unplug the antenna
and then reconnect it); the other must be retuned by user-space software
before it will relock.
The Avermedia DVB-T card (dvb-bt8xx + sp887x) will regain lo

Hi Mike,
FWIW, I have the same card, here in Adelaide, (it's about 9 months old).
I just did an experiment -- I unplugged my antenna, and got output from
tzap that looked pretty close to yours (both the signal and snr fields
were displaying , and the ber and unc fields were jumping backwards
Hi,
Finally succumbed to asking the forum for assistance on this one.
Am running Gentoo 2.6.6-rc2 with devfs.
Initial stabs at using kernel source resulted in happy modules, but no cards

was present but empty.

Hi,
I've a B2C2 card with mt312 frontend. I want to use it for internet
connection.
I'm using 2.4.26 kernel and libranet linux (debian sarge based)
I compiled drivers with make/make install commands and added following lines
to my modules.conf file:
options dvb-core dvb_shutdown_timeout=0
