am really sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, if it has then I didn't
get the message - sorry, I searched google and the mail archive without any

tda1004x: Deteched Philips TD1316 tuner.
tda1004x_fwupload: Unsupported firmware
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/tda1004x.bin
thats the output on dmesg when i insmod tda1004x

Hallo again,
now that i had some time again i tried to install linuxtv-dvb-1.1.0 again.
Unfortunately i can't get bttv and dvb working at once together - both compile
now, but whether dvb-ttpci.o complains about missing externals
videoregister/unregister or bttv.o does so.
But i need both at o

Have you tried current CVS? Or at least updated dvb_frontend.c
to fix this bug:

Hello List,
I have a Gentoo distri with kernel 2.6.2 running and the dvb kernle
drivers build as modules.
One problem I have is that I have to create the /dev/dvb devices
manually, devfs (built in the kernel) does not create these.
In /etc/devfsd.conf are the following lines:

Hi list,
I managed to connect to my sat provider using 2.4 and my SS2.
I'm trying to use dvbnet on 2.6: the problem is that it hangs my
keyboard (SysRq works, but how do I dump the output to a file?).
I can reproduce the problem just running dvbnet.
I tried :
1) szap ; sleep 5 ; dvbnet
2) dvbnet ;

hello,
I have the same card (TT Budget C) and same problems (HTV DVB-C

I tried Kaihola's patch, i.e.
(void)vb_frontend_internal_ioctl (frontend, FE_SET_FRONTEND, param);
dvb_delay(100); /* clear your head before action */

Hello,
i have some question about StartHWFilter. Can somebody explain me the
funktion of "buf[1] = 16" from this routine?
And, by the way, is the old filter path mode = 0x0320 always active, or
route this filter path also to the new one?
Greetings
