Hi,
I have problems with insmod. I´m using a Siemens DVB-c Card Rev. 2.1; DVB
Modules linux-dvb.2003-01-08-ci-ll; make and make insmod runs without
errors;
In /var/log/kern.log appears
Jan 28 13:04:39 vdr1 kernel: Linux video capture interface: v1.00
Jan 28 13:04:43 vdr1 kernel: DVB: registering
There are other cheap budget cards. The upcoming Flyvideo DVB card
e.g. is easy to support. Maybe there also is some really good
competition for the big TT cards very soon ...
What about the cheap B2C2 card ? It would be great to use a 30 Euro card
under linux and vdr.

looks like it has been fixed :)

It's now committed.

Hi all!
I've tried to compile the cvs-dvb-kernel-driver . It seem not to work for me.
When I can say which chips are stored on the card, you can say me which driver
I should use or is this not to see?

Hello,
I'm going to record a MPEG movie on disk with the DVB card. Then I need
to put a picture on the movie that will be placed at X and Y position

Hi again,
one of my colleagues suggested that the image errors and distortions
might also be due to insufficient signal strength (I wonder why a
B-Box works then ;-), so is there a tool within the Siemens driver
distribution that allows to watch signal strength level according
to channel?

You could contact the lawyer whose homepage I post a link below, he is
working on enforcing the GNU/GPL cases:

I just thought to point out the subject, so that the other bttv
authors may be aware of it.

It appears that the decryption will only work if loading driver, removing
CAM, inserting CAM and tuning is done in that particular order. So far
no other combination has led to a working result.
What I would like to work of course is decrypting without h

Hi folks,
I went through a bit more experimentation with my ABit BP6 dual
Celeron and TechnoTrend DVB-C card last night. As mentioned earlier, I
get bad distortions every couple of seconds in the decoded mpeg
picture, both on TV and using TuxView, while a D-Box attached to the
same cable works fin
