Dear Klaus!
First of all thanks for the new version.
Unfortunaly the OSD overlaps when you switch from channel to channel and
when you call
"menu", "channels".
Is this an already known bug or is something wrong with my configuration?

Hi,
I've got problems jumping back and forth between cutting marks in VDR
recordings (I'm using the current CVS driver and VDR 0.84 with one (1) Rev.
2.1 card). When the playback is paused (still image), I can jump to each
cutting mark and the OSD progress bar works correctly but the image is not

Not for me. I would not mind having even more -
at least for the recordings and for the EPG.

Hello all!
I used vdr 072 and DVB 084 without trouble on my GA 5AX Mainboard with 1 DVB-S Card
(and a CA-Module for Premiere).
As I add one Card I get somtimes crashes and many squares in the runnig picture on TV.
This Weekend (since Friday) I try to get a better System. (very long Story . . )

Hi,
since i'm not able to use CVS, i wonder why there is no more driver version
0.9x for download from http//www.linuxtv.org/download/dvb/
Can somebody please post an adress where to download the 'latest greatest'
driver version directly?
Thx

Hi,
I'm still searching for the best way to archive my VDR recordings so that
they need as little space as possible while preserving as much of the
MPEG-2 quality as possible ;-)
This leads me to the question what MPEG formats can be replayed using [VDR
and] the DVB-s card. I have tried a VCD-co

It's magic!
No, seriously: the OSD can have up to 7 separate windows, each of which can have
2,
I use a Phillips Pronto learning remote to send the two digits as a macro in
the fast mode.
Manually means I press the 2 numbers on a keypad.
I will try to put a delay in the macro then, to simulate the manual way.

Well, I don't like it this way. I think it was very intuitive to
have the channel name at the top. Perhaps you could make it
configurable next time?

I _love_ it!

the complete file name of a longer title and fast

Hi,
Just tried vdr 0.84 with the new CVS driver and got a single problem.
When entering 2-digit channel numbers fast I get an illegal channel error
every time. I use the same remote as I did with the 0.83 version where it
worked. If I enter the 2-digit channel numbers manually it works.

I suggest the following patch to the latest CVS driver in
order to make it possible for an OSD window to be "initially hidden".
It "abuses" the 'data' pointer as a boolean switch to determine whether
the caller wishes to have the window created initially hidden.
VDR 0.84 sets 'data' to '(void *)

As far as i can tell, when i had this problem it alway appeared first on the
channels you mentioned and after some switching it killed the drivers
(firmware ?) - and a clean reboot finally brought back functionality (at
least in most cases)!
Unfortunately i have the same problem to find the cause

Hi there,
some time ago a number of people reported that they had problems
to receive channels like Pro7, Sat1, Kabel, N24, Tm3. I still have
such problems but only for channels on transponder 104 (12480 v).
Can anybody confirm that there are problems? Maybe also with
non-DVB-S equipment? I'm abs
