Hello Henning, thanks for your answer!
It helps me, as it says I have done nothing wrong.
So I'll have to boot Windows whenever I want to record or view something
encrypted, is that right?
And I'll have to crawl behind my machine and insert the alphacrypt, because
with inserted module the Linux

May want to rerient case with power supply at top and
since heat rises, you should get a natural convection
current going. Hard drives probably need to be reoriented
too since they don't usually want to be in a vertical
direction. You'd probably still burn out power supply and

Currently I am using vdr 0.7
I noticed that in the latest CVS driver's dvb.c the SetPIDs() call
in tuning to the default channel (n-tv) is now done _before_ the
actual tuning, as opposed to previous driver versions where it
was done _after_ tuning.
Does this mean that an application should now also set the PIDs _before_ tuni

I also have tuning problems with my Hauppauge card, rev 1.3. The driver is
from CVS (16-06), and the DTV version is 1.1. I am using a LFS installation
with Linux kernel 2.4.4 on a Pentium 200 MMX with 64Mb RAM.
I have used the option -v4 to display more messages.

Maybe it should be mentioned that as a general rule after updating the
driver from CVS one should:
0) cd DVB/driver
1) make rmmod
2) make clean
3) make insmod
to ensure that you are really using the latest version and not some
strange mix of old and new object files/kernel modules.

When I record something with VDR, i get an segmentation fault after some
time. My Message-Logfile shows nothing.

Debugging/core files?
