Hi! Some time ago I asked to the list if there's any poin of sale in
Europe where to buy a Seca CI that is not ASTON, but didn't receive any
answer: is that because ALL Seca users have Aston and there's nobody
else to sell Seca CIs or just that this is a professional secret?

Just a suggestion: The OSD memory is very limited and so is the
functionality. Maybe the use of DirectFB (www.
There doesn't seem to be any documentation on the OSD ioctls (or
library calls). If there is, please point me there and I'll RTFM.
I've been looking at VDR's use of OSD, but it seems minimal.
VDR only calls "open" with 4bpp. The libdvb OSD.c seems to limit bpp
in the open call to 15. "Load

Hello everybody,
I´ve expierienced some kind of problems when trying to compile the new
(CVS) 0.9 driver-sources. Somewhere I read about a "minimum kernel
version", I think. Can anybody tell me which this should be ??
At the moment I´m running a 2.4.2 and don´t see any need for a newer

This left me wondering, if there are channels which actually broadcast
any movies with the original soundtrack via DVB-S, and especially via
Astra(19.2E),
Does this mean that they never broadcast additional au
Hi!
Sorry for being off-topic, but I guess the audience here know the answer.
Recently, discussion was about channels with several APIDS ("Finding
additional APIDS..."), and Klaus Schmidinger mentioned that the feature
of recording two APIDS was mainly intented to record dubbed movies and

Hello Klaus,
i think you wrote that radio recording in vdr is a problem because
vdr sync on video i frames, or ?
So what do you think about the trick to give vdr a small mpeg stream
from hd while recodring radio ? That must be only little changes in vdr, or
?
Its not the goal but a lillte trick

Hi,
I suppose you used WinCVS to get the latest driver-source via CVS.
In that case you have to enable an option to download linux-text-files
correctly due to the old LF/CR-Problem ... I don't know the exact
name of that option, but I will check it when I'm at home ... if
it's interesting for you
Hi All..
