Another restaurant that is smaller, less expensive than Summer Shack, and
very busy is Captain Mardens in Wellesley.
Great for lobster and all seafood. May need a reservation.

Hi,
Might be worth a nice road trip to Rockport, Gloucester or Maine. York,
Wells are pretty close. Several places “in the rough” might still be open.
Beaches lovely at this time of year.
Enjoy!

Hi Ursula,
Since you mentioned “reasonably price”… are you aware that Market Basket sells
fresh lobsters somewhere around $7 or $8 per pound and they will steam them for
you?
Otherwise, I second the other recommendation for Twin Seafood in West Concord.
Enjoy!

And if you do not have a large lobster pot, they can easily be microwaved

I learned that years ago from a TV program in which Roger Berkowitz of
Legal Seafood revealed that was his preferred method for cooking a few
lobsters at home. Also advocated by Jasper White a
I support Margo's suggestion. Blue Collar Lobster in Gloucester is
authentic on the wharf lobster shack style eating. No formal indoor dining
though, but if weather is nice then hard to beat for the historic and
proximity-to-beaches experience.
