Seal-coating is highly toxic to the environment and to humans. The off gassing
lasts for years and the longevity of the desired result is short-lived. Worth
considering. Please see below from a statement made by a local epidemiologist
that I know:

Please email the address at the bottom for more information.
This is a great, highly collegial sport for kids who want to try a new
sport and learn many other skills alongside, including conflict resolution,
given there are no referees in pre-college Ultimate. The players on both
teams are charge
I second American Burnweed. It’s native and pollinator friendly, although
I do agree that it’s one of my less favorites. I generally leave it to
focus on fighting the aggressive non-natives in my yard, but I pluck it out
of unwanted areas.
For plant IDs, I used to use PlantSnap, but it wasn’t wo

I’ve found “Picture This” to be a more accurate plant ID app than
PlantSnap. It confirms that this is American burn weed.

Does anyone have need for a very simple, full-size wood platform bed
frame? We have all the parts and it is assembled (might be slightly
difficult to move in assembled form).
I believe it's the bed pictured and linked below from West Elm, but the
wood is a darker color - more dark brown/black. W
I’m not an expert, but it looks like Burnweed. It’s native and pollinators like
it (if that is what it is).

Dear LT,
A friend is looking for an apartment in Lincoln for a mother and her 3 children
so that they can continue to go to school in Lincoln. If you know of any
available apartments (or would like additional information), please contact
Heather Stewart (i.e., the mom) at

Thanks for the other app suggestions!
I've been using the Seek app and I find that it is pretty accurate. I will
have to check out the other apps mentioned here.

Can anyone recommend a local vet for animal dental work (especially for
cats)? The dental specialists wanted $3000 per cat for X-rays and an oral

Heather is my friend, she has two daughters (not 3 children), the family is smart, strong & beautiful. I recommend you helping if you can. Heather & girls moved into short-term rental at same time as I moved back to Lincoln two years ago. Rental no longer available. Anne Sobol, 10 Beaver PondOn Sep
Does anybody know whether Burnweed is an invasive native plant? I've been
leaving it in because it's native and plays an ecological role, but I don't
want it to outcompete all the other surrounding native plants.
BTW, Horseweed is also native, but I'm pulling that one! I've heard that
