Hanscom 9 PM closing sounds are not heard back of my house.
I had not noticed the connection, but the howling was non-threatening.
I have not heard of them this year yet.

It's so beautiful in the summer when our windows are open and we can really
hear the coyotes. They live on Battle Road Farm property as well as the
Minuteman Nat Hist Park. Sometimes when I am out working on the property at
5:00 p.m. when the Anthem plays I'll be surprised by some unearthly sounds
Another animal inspired event to add to Lincoln's eclectic entries in
Google Maps (besides Ponyhenge): the Lincoln / Hanscom coyote singalong.

In the past, we have been called upon to assist in a roundup.
And then there were those wayward pigs….
Let’s keep it that way!

That howling from the Northern woods on Bedford Road is a group of coyotes that appear to have a lair somewhere in the conservation land behind the houses, close to 2A . They particularly like it when Taps is played at Hanscom Field as it is every night at 9 PM, and they howl along with it. Love it
Hello,
It is not at all surprising to me that you would hear the Codman cows at
Greenridge. I am on the Codman Estate within ear, eye, and nose shot of
the Codman cows and they are very loud at night. I don't mind it but
sometimes they do sound very distressed but it is not because of coyotes.
It
This is why I love Lincoln.

Did anyone else hear something that sounded like a cow mooing in the middle of
last night? We live at the upper part of Greenridge Lane. I was wondering
whether the coyotes got at the cows at Codman Farm or a cow got loose.--
