i have five tall (20') pear trees.this year they have lots of fruit. i rope them off to keep marauding deer from decimating my crop,i surround the trunks with metal flashing to keep chipmunks and squirrels from climbing up and picking off my pears.this year i even added plastic dog recovery cones
