Can you explain what you mean by "booting via USB"?
You can use USB to enter in bootstrap mode, so that you can program a
binary into some media, like SD card

mx51 and mx53 could not be compiled into kernel together so our
upstream only mx hwpack is mx51 only
We will be able to change that now with these patches.
