Hi all, I'm working on a songbook for a church. Following the convention in modern hymnals, the "words" and "music" credits are to the left, after the score. So this is, in essence, the pattern I'm using: \score { } \markup { \column { "Words: Josephine Blow"

Thanks Eluze. After some study I reduced the basic-distance and stretchability of the score-markup-spacing. I also reduced the stretchability of the system-system-spacing and then I expanded all parameters of the markup-markup-spacing, including a large amount of stretchability. Things are looki
