Hi,
I've managed to make some real progress getting my head around
Lillypond, and I'd have to say that the output quality is awesome
compared to what I'd previously been using.
I've spent a few hours looking, tried a lot of things and still cannot
get what I'm after here.

It seems clear to me that I am mis-formatting something.
What I am trying to do is is to put multiple tunes on a single page
as for a "set" of tunes for a dance. The problem that I'm having is
that many of these tunes start both the "A" part and the "B" part
with an anacrusis and end the part with

scores that I process to PDF and include in a a

to be able to print them as individual scores.

The title and composer disappeared into the ether -- clearly
the method here only works for snippets, not full or multi-page
scores.
I keep banging at this and getting nowhere.
As putting a bunch of individual scores together into a book may
be a more or less common task, a good template would be

BTW, I'm getting a fair collection of Australian

as some collected Australian dance tunes in

But how do I make them available?

I will add that I find that I can enter a score much faster and

Just tried to import a cubase XML file and hit a
*bunch* of errors.
I did finally get a .ly, but it was a struggle and required the
command line version rather than working in Frescobaldi.
I post this, not so much asking for assistance, but as possibly
useful data for those working on musicxml2

This is sort-of a solution in search of a problem but
it may save someone else some frustration.

The likely answer is that I'm doing this all wrong, but I'll ask
and hopefully find a solution that doesn't involve a complete
re-structure of my source files.
I've read the following several times an haven't found
anything relevant

portion of the information might be useful.
My personal needs are simple -- ABC format
would probably be enough for me.

I use Lilypond mostly for song sheets with a melody, lyrics and guitar chords.
On occasion I use Linux toolsto generate an MP3 of the tune to make it easier

Something that would be "nice" would be a way tospecify a guitar rhythm that

to the standard serif font.
The resulting output is definitely readable so I'm pleased with
the result.

I'm guessing that the answer is "no" since publishers like
to reduce the page count, where possible. And I've never
seen this done.
So, I won't be too frustrated if the answer is, "It ca
