I'm writing multiple lines of music and some parts come in later by a few lines
(or sometimes a page or 2). Does anyone know how to make to empty bars and
empty lines not show up until needed? See example below:

I don't like hyphens disappearing in the lyrics. How can I force them to stay in the lyrics. Also the lyrics are too close, they almost run into one another like one long word. I'm sure there must be a spacing command. Daniel Boronka___

following lines where empty bars of music are not needed when music is
finished? See example below.
