Dear Lilypond-group,
I want to break after a bar.
In the first example this shown.
However, when a beam spans the break the 8th rest in example 2 causes a
problem. How can I create a line break here?

Now it works. I assume that the lyrics are connected to the first voice.
My installed version comes from the Ubuntu repositories.
Perhaps I can better install it from an installation download for the
latest version.
