I just set annotate-spacing = ##t and it's showing a 2.85 millimeters. That's pretty small. I don't remember being that small. I added: top-margin= 2\cm and it's showing a margin of 11.38.

That is an interesting but complex snippet which looks like a nuclear option for what I need: changing the thickness of the flag or at least the thickness of the slash. I went through the multiple scan of the code with grep to try to find where the default values are set and I was not able to find

I am typesetting the Bee by Schubert (*) with a time signature of 2/4 and all notes are 1/16 and grouped implicitly in triplets. is there a way to specify at the beginning of the score that notes are to be grouped in triplets of 1/16 and avoid having to type \tuplet 3/2 {c8 c8 c8} many times?

i tried examples in this old post but none of them compile in 2.19.15. I created a sample example. Is it possible to set the box to wrap around the notes without having to set the dimensions? How can we move the notes so the box does not overlap with the repeat sign in the second example?

thanks. Now seeing that you used 'cons' my Lisp studies came back to my mind and made me realize the Quote operator is a shortcut for constructing a list. i searched the doc for what arguments 'translate' take and the only doc was about translating music not taking coordinates. thanks again.
